Our mission is to unite all Bulgarians living in Calgary and to
preserve the Bulgarian traditions and spirit!
1. Preserve the Bulgarian traditions and culture, and unite all Bulgarians
living in Calgary.
2. Present and popularize our cultural values, national identity and faith.
3. Cultivate cultural and ethnic commitment in the young generation,
foster knowledge and pride in our native culture.
4. Help Bulgarian newcomers in Calgary by providing information
about work, home rentals, education, translations and legalization
of documents.
5. Foster ties between Canada and Bulgaria through social, cultural,
trade and various other activities.
6. Organize celebration of national holidays and traditions.
The goals and the initiatives for their implementation were determined
after conducting a brief study among the participants in this
initial meeting. Upon reviewing the results from 72 surveys the
Board outlined these top priorities.

2. Organizing sports events such as soccer and tennis
3. Organizing cultural events such as concerts and exhibitions
4. Celebrating Bulgarian National Holidays
5. Finding a facility for the needs of the Society
